Homemade Dishwasher Soap

I have recently been asked about the type of dishwasher soap I use, so this gives me the perfect opportunity to share the recipe. This is not my recipe, so I cannot take credit for it. 250 mL Borax
250 mL baking soda
100 mL citric acid powder (I order this from a local drug store AND explain that it is to meant for homemade dishwasher soap)
250 mL coarse Kosher salt

Mix together and store in an airtight container with a lid. Be sure to keep the lid on or the moisture from the air will cause the soap to clump. Casey advised me that she practically had to use a jackhammer to get a chunk for her dishwasher. I am not into jackhammering, so I heeded her advise. Use 15 mL per load. 

NOTE: In the liquid section meant for rinsing, use vinegar for the rinse.
